OEM windshield goes through thorough quality checks and tests to ensure that the glass can endure high impact without breaking off easily. On the other hand, non-OEM or aftermarket glass is cheaper, though you may encounter fit and finish problems, such as air and water leaks. They may also not be as durable as OEM glass and could void warranty claims from your car manufacturer.
