Where can I buy a windshield repair kit?

Glass is cracked from a little pesky pebble in the freeway.. strapped for cash, might as well try a repair kit.. any ideas where I could buy one in the Valley (Burbank/LA)? I know Walmart has one, but there aren’t any Walmarts around here.. checked Target, but they don’t seem to have one. Thanks!

    Sorry to hear that. You could buy the kit online at amazon or wal-mart and then have it shipped to your house. Another option you could use if you have comprehensive insurance is having a company come out and work on your windshield and having insurance cover the whole thing. I hear that it won't raise premiums either. Depending on how extensive the damage is you could get an entire windshield replaced.

    They are a pretty common item at any auto parts store,probably find a store in the phone book.It takes quite a bit of practice to learn the steps properly.Until the person becomes proficient the end result will be poor and then can't be repaired professionally.As standard in the insurance business,the company will usually pay for a chip repair at no cost to the owner,it's worth checking into even if your deductible is high.
